Saturday, June 5th, 2010The Shenandoah Valley Triathlon is set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near the beautiful town of Luray. The same great course as the August race this one loop swim in pristine Lake Arrowhead gets athletes ready for the 17.0 mile bike on paved roads through the woods and farms of the Shenandoah Valley. The 5K is an out and back with rolling hills and all on the roads of Page County.
Come visit Luray with its 300+ acres of award-winning parkland and spend some time exploring the downtown and seeing what the Shenandoah Valley has to offer!

Course Description
The swim takes place in Lake Arrowhead, a small, clean manmade lake. The bike course leaves from Lake Arrowhead Park and takes athletes through the rural woods and farms of the Shenandoah Valley. Leaving the park, the run course is an out and back with rolling hills and all on the paved roads of Page County.
